Computer Animation
Full Sail's
Computer Animation program
features the focus areas of Fine Arts, Modeling, Animation, Effects, and
includes a Final Project/ Reel Demo. You will learn a wide range of
skills from traditional art and animation principles, life drawing,
shading and lighting. The curriculum includes the principles of physics,
anatomy, and color theory, computer animation courses and creating
digital characters, objects, and environments, as well as applying your
learnings to special effects for live action film and television.
Digital Arts & Design
Full Sail's on campus Digital Arts & Design program includes the
focus areas of Print& 2D, Motion Graphics, Interactive Design, and
Portfolio Development.
The degree allows you to translate that knowledge into a career creating
powerful images and to communicate ideas through different media,
including video, print, motion graphics and the web.
Working to develop your personal branding style, your final project will
include both physical and web-based portfolios that will help you
launch your career.
ESL
If you' want to pursue a degree in the entertainment and media industry
you can bring your English up to speed, learning alongside students who
share your passion. Full Sail's English as a Second Language program
builds your English skills on all levels of comprehension, vocabulary,
listening, and conversation while being creative.
Projects and exercises – including movies, songwriting, blogging,
podcasts, art, and more prepare you for language proficiency exams while
at the same time being emerged in the university environment, the
entertainment industry and interacting with current faculty and
students.
Film/Motion Picture
Full Sail's Bachelor of Science in Film focuses on the areas of
Preproduction, Production, Postproduction, and includes a Final Project,
your own 35mm film to prepare you to enter the film industry. Get
hands-on experience on the role that each crew member plays.
You’ll learn everything from creating a film’s story, finalizing
scripts, and storyboards to preparing budgets, scheduling shoots, and
holding casting calls. Of course this also includes the postproduction
process, by cutting, rearranging, recording and editing footage,
dialogue, sound effects, music, and visual effects and titles. In all
this you’ll be using Hollywood professional gear, from 16mm, 35mm and HD
cameras, cranes and lighting rigs to Full Sail’s own multi-locale
backlot.
Game Design/Development
Full Sail's Game School offers a Bachelor of Science in Game
Development focusing on the areas of Programming Languages, Interactive
Development, Architectures, and Projects. Courses include each cycle of
game development, the foundations of programming, creating game engines,
developing artificial intelligence, and integrating assets.
A curriculum and tools that are always current and
industry-relevant, skilled and experienced instructors, and an advisory
board of video game industry professionals will give you the technical
and professional skills to start your career in the industry.
Media Communications
Full Sail University's Bachelor of Science program in Media
Communications includes the focus areas of Written & Visual
Communications, Digital Audio & Video Production, New Media Tools,
and Transmedia Storytelling.
Learn core communication principles and writing techniques, while
becoming familiar with digital media from video and audio, to games and
animation, new media technology and theories of aesthetics and
communication, and learn the workflow processes involved in creative
project management. Taking on real-world programs and building your

Recording Arts
Full Sail’s Bachelor of Science in Recording Arts focuses on the areas
of Sound Fundamentals, Music Production, Recording, and Postproduction.
Experience different facets of the industry: Learn microphone placement,
engineer actual recording sessions with artists, sharpen your editing
skills, work with post-production audio for film and television projects
and mix sound effects, all in one of our several state-of-the-art
recording facilities.
Show Production
The Bachelor of Science in Show Production with the focus areas of Live
Event Production, Audio & Lighting Systems, Audio Visual
Technologies, and Concert Media Design will teach you all aspects of
working behind the scenes.
You’ll design, engineer, and manage a full-scale multimedia concert in
Full Sail Live, our state-of-the-art performance hall.
